Although Dale and Beckie’s wedding was over six years ago, we’ve stayed in touch over the years and they’ve been a couple of my biggest supporters.
One of the best parts about being a photographer is being given the honor of documenting life’s milestones. It’s hard to believe that it’s already been two years since I met their little guy for his first official photos!
I was thrilled when Beckie asked to schedule a session for updated family portraits. I hadn’t seen Alex since his first birthday party and was eager to see how much he had changed over the year.
This little guy is full of personality and is able to make anyone fall in love with him within seconds. Between his vast vocabulary, contagious giggles, curious nature, and excited requests for high fives, I was completely melting.
This was definitely my favorite reveal session so far. When Alex saw all of the photos on my studio wall, the biggest smile grew on his face, as he excitedly pointed out ‘mama’ and ‘dada’ in the photos. This photo in particular was one of his favorites. He pointed to it and exclaimed “kisses”, then running to Beckie to mimic the photo (which in turn of course made this one of mom’s favorite photos).
Looking back, Allentown Rose Garden was the definitely the perfect spot! Not only did Alex find this bridge to be the coolest thing ever, but mom and dad fell in love with the very first photo I had taken.
Beckie loved the way that this image captured a real family moment, their son’s eyes filled with so much wonder and excitement.
I’m so grateful to have been able to capture these moments for the Gyorfi family. Children grow so quickly and photographs serve as the perfect reminder of how tiny they once were.
