This past holiday season was a little different this year because it was the first time in 12 years that I had a studio large enough to offer family holiday sessions! I didn't have to worry about weather issues, rushed setups...this new home in Berks County, right off Penn Ave in West Lawn, is perfect!
These little guys had such a blast during their session (if you couldn't tell by those huge smiles!). At times, their laughter became so uncontrollable and contagious, we had to gather ourselves before we could continue taking photos.
Each session included cookies, including a few to take home, because who doesn't love cookies?! (other than me). The tiny couch was actually an impulse buy and it has ended up being every child's favorite. Some children even beg mom and dad to let them bring it home!
I have known this family for a whopping TWELVE years now! Dale and Beckie were one of the first weddings I had photographed and have become such great friends. I've loved seeing their relationship grow as they became parents to two goofy and lovable little boys.
This was their first session together as a family of four (their family of three session feels like forever ago!) and grandma was also invited to be a part of the memories. The boys and grandma definitely love their time together!
After spending a bit of time on casual clothes photos, the boys hopped into their Christmas pajamas for some fun, personality-filled photos. There was no shortness of laughter and smiles here, either!
The robes really got me...wearing them made them look like such grown up little guys!
The boys ended up having so much fun, it was a challenge for mom and dad to get them to go home. I'm excited to see what their reactions will be the next time they are in my West Lawn studio!
